Keeping up with parameters of CME-6111, the CME-6211 model has significantly lower sensitivity toward atmospheric pressure and temperature variations in lower frequency range. This model's sensors are equipped with double-shielded isolation from unwanted external actions. The seismometer does not require mass centering or any other special techniques during installment. However, this model has been designed for using mostly as a part of stationary seismic survey stations and is the most ultimate among our production.

To start work with it, You just need to install the seismometer onto flat surface, turn on power and wait for few minutes till sensors settle down. The device is a complete seismic receiver based on the CME-4311 seismic sensor equipped with the onboard NDAS serie data logger. The data transfer and system configuring can be carried out either via wired USB or wireless Wi-Fi connection, while 32 GB of onboard NVRAM allows for a long-term autonomous recording. The seismograph is fully operational when powered from a USB port (in 500 mA mode).

  Ocean-bottom broadband seismometers СМЕ-4211-OBS and СМЕ-4311-OBS

Seismometers CME-4211-OBS and CME-4311-OBS are specially adapted for ocean bottom applications versions of models CME-4211 and CME-4311 correspondingly. These models share main technical parameters with corresponding regular versions, but have a specially designed compact lightweight case, flat flexible signal cable and consume less power. Specially designed hardware allow the seismometers to be installed inside titanium or glass waterproof spheres usually used in ocean bottom installation.

The instrument is fully operable at up 15° tilt angle and thus does not require accurate leveling.

Economical compact size seismometer — the short-period analog of the model CME-4311 (available in one- and three-component configurations).

The seismometer is characterized by wide dynamic range, low self-noise, high gain, low power consumption. It's very reliable and has no moving parts to be broken or wear out. Like other molecular-electronic seismometers, this model has no demands on mass centering at installation and mass locking for transportation.
