  • August 2020: interviewing R-sensors on new products for marine industry
August 2020: interviewing R-sensors on new products for marine industry
Korabel.ru published an interview (Rus) with R-sensors' general director Vadim Agafonov, PhD in Physics and Math.

The R-sensors engineers developed new acoustic sensors designed for marine oil&gas seismic exploration. These sensors are a hydrophone and a dual sensor consisting of a geophone and a hydrophone inside. They were successfully tested in the Black Sea and approved by the Marinet industry center of Russia.

Korabel.ru was started in 2002 and is now highly popular among top managers of shipbuilding enterprises, design engineers, ship owners and suppliers of marine equipment.
  • June 2020: R-sensors team gets knowledge and experience
June 2020: R-sensors team gets knowledge and experience
Explorers of the R-sensors team are regularly improving their knowledge to provide you the best solutions based on high output parameters of our instruments.

We are proud to announce 2 recent events.

Anna Shabalina, electronics engineer, received her PhD in Physics and Math from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia. Anna presented a thesis on ‘The physical mechanisms for shaping frequency responses and self-noise generation of the miniature molecular-electronic motion sensors’. The thesis was devoted to studying output characteristics of molecular-electronic sensors and helped go deeper into the nature of their self-noise.

Dmitry Zaitsev, lead explorer, PhD in Physics and Math, received a Certificate of an active reviewer of the 20-th International Scientific Conference on Earth and Planetary Sciences – SGEM 2020, Bulgaria.

We congratulate our colleagues on these remarkable achievements and wish them growth in the chosen areas!

Currently, 4 team members holding PhDs are working at R-sensors.

  • December 2019: R-sensors at innovations exhibition in Sochi, Russia
December 2019: R-sensors at innovations exhibition in Sochi, Russia
The Global Technology Leadership forum was held on 05 to 07 December in Sochi, south of Russia. The forum was focused on implementation of cutting edge technologies and development of innovations in Russia.

An appealing part of the forum was an exhibition organized by Foundation for Assistance of Small Industrial Enterprises (FASIE). The exhibition covered Russian hitech solutions and products. All the participants are winners of the contest which focused on supporting companies on the markets of the National Technology Initiative (the Russian government's program to develop new markets).

In 2017 R-sensors' scientific project for developing broadband seismic and acoustic sensors for marine seismic exploration was approved and funded in the 'NTI-Development' program, the Marinet area of research (that is the National Technology Initiative's work group supporting hitech for maritime industries).

R-sensors showed a dual sensor (geophone + hydrophone) to be used in an ocean-bottom cable system for marine seismic exploration.
