Short-period seismometer CME-3211

The three-component short-period seismometer CME-3211 is designed for portable applications as well as for permanent installations in locations with the background noise being higher than the Low Noise Model.

The seismometer is very rugged, does not require any maintenance or mass locking and centering. Its dynamic range is 108 dB at 1 Hz, maximum installation tilt is ±15°.

The 1-component (vertical, horizontal) version is available.

The CME-3211 frequency characteristic with poles and zeros presentation is available at the link on the website of Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS).
