The MTSS-1041A one-component low-noise seismic accelerometer is a modification of the MTSS-1043A three-component accelerometer. It can be manufactured with a differential or single-ended output.
While small in size and light, these accelerometers feature a high level of accuracy and stability of parameters. The wide dynamic range, lowest distortion, high temperature stability and competitive price make them a cost-effective solution for various applications such as earthquake engineering, structural health monitoring, etc.
The accelerometers are supplied with screw tail pins for ground installation and can be supplied with mounting bases which allow for installation of the 3 sensors of the same type orthogonally.
The MTSS-1041A frequency characteristic with the poles and zeros presentation is available at the link on the website of Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS).
