The use of digital autonomous seismic systems (nodes) with the UAV allows data quality control. At the same time, such advantages of these systems as flexibility in use and reliability are preserved.
As a result of the development, a compact mobile seismic station was made that provides autonomous recording of broadband 3C data of high resolution as well as communication with the UAV through a wireless channel.
A mechanism for capturing and transporting modules using the UAV was developed. The information transferred to the UAV allows an operator to monitor the technical condition of the seismic system and the quality of the data acquired in close to real time.
The primary sensitive element that was used is a molecular-electronic geophone with an extended operating frequency range of 1-250 Hz. The digital system provides autonomous high-resolution recording of seismic data, transfer of data packages to monitor quality thereof to the UAV and automatic calibration of recording channels.
